my tech told me Ester oil is good for 5,000 mile intervals. Which luckally im only at 3,000. I started this thread upset because I was due for an oil

Which luckally im only at 3,000. I started this thread upset because I was due for an oil change but i ca hold off now for at least another 1,000 miles. BTW, the top tech at my dealership said what i was origiannly told to be wrong, that other oil can be used. The only difference is that he has heard is other oil besides the ester making our cars "louder". Anyways, hopefully I will figure out what to do over the next few months. Maybe I will just stick with ester for the life of the vehicle....Who knows
