Yea........he just got that oil pump. So it should be close to the top of the pile.

The consensus is that it is most likely left over machining bits from assembly and nothing to worry about. I'm certainly not going to worry about it - if its a problem, I'll find out soon enough.

That parts pile is significantly smaller today as about 1/3 of the pile is now installed on the car
