He told me story of a customer who called to complain after his got stuck open and he got pulled over and got a ticket for the noise.

My neighbor had QTP cutouts on his CTS-V and they sounded great but he only had the car for a few months so I'm sure they would've needed maintenance.
Basically looking for a little more volume but don't want to do testpipes/tune yet so we'll see

Last year when I had my Z up there. This loop is just east of the Suches loop: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russ...n_Scenic_Byway

Beautiful driving up there!!

The Z is off of the jack stands. Did all of my checks. It's road ready! :driving: And I'm ready. :driving: Have 2 trips planned for the Z this year. ZDayZ, and a wedding in Wyoming. :driving:

Wyoming. Now that's a trip! Enjoy!!!

State inspection is done. Alignment is done. Specs are. Front camber -2.2, caster +6.2, toe 1/16" in. Rear camber -1.8, toe 1/16" in. The Z is a bit on the dartie side. :driving: Couldn't push to hard because it's only 40F with wind gusts to 50 mph.

New gauges work. Seen oil pressure as high as 110 at 5,000 rpm. Water temp was 180F with the new hood vents. Diff temp went to 200F. Turned on the pump and watched the temps drop. Turned the fan on and the temps dropped even quicker.

The OS Giken diff is a bit clunky in operation at low speed. You know it's working. It's no where near a Detroit Locker in operations.

Haven't done much with the "Z." Got four new tires but haven't got to try them out too much since winter refuses to go away here in Iowa.

Installed the Nissan Front Deflector today. It was my first experience with taking the front valence off.

Should've stopped over in my area of NY. Maybe in another month the white stuff will finally be gone.

No, it's called the grand solar minimum. The sun is going to sleep for about 3 years. No sun spots or very little for that period.

Picked up these wheels this morning from a forum member. I originally intended to use them for autox, but they look so damn good, they're going to be used daily. This also happened to be the first drive of the year. What a ******* winter.

Swapped out my Ark Grip for the Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber Non-Resonated CBE. Even with Test Pipes, the Ark was way too quiet for me. The Fast Intentions is noticeably louder, but it still doesn't scratch that itch. I've seen many comments saying how the Non-Res FI CBE + Test Pipes is an insane combination, which is certainly an overstatement. Don't think I'll be content until I go Tomei or GT Haus in the future.

The Ark is for sale if anyone in the Tri-state Area is interested.

I know the pain. My car does not come out of the garage with cold or wet weather. The continental tires are not build well for that. Plus it is in pieces.

Hasn't gotten above 45 here with constantly rain, sleet or snow still. Hasn't stopped the mass of geniuses in Moostangs, camarrows, and chugengers, from going out. I've only seen 2 moostangs break the rear end loose going around corners because the summer tires have no grip in these types of temps. I give it another week before I see a camarrow wrapped around a mailbox.

Uhhhh guys its been above 70 here for months, what are you talking about?

You can keep your damn alligators!!

Maybe deep down I'm afraid of any apex predator that lived through the K-T extinction. Physically unchanged for a hundred million years, because it's the perfect killing machine. A half ton of cold-blooded fury, the bite force of 20,000 Newtons, and stomach acid so strong it can dissolve bones and hoofs.

They're not that bad, they leave native Floridians alone since they're too busy chasing Canadians and their small dogs around
