Well, I need to get it off the jack stands and out of the garage in the sunlight. In the garage, it looks good.

Got tune by Harry at Ztuner in Tampa. Stillen g3 and F.I. HFC and TDX 303whp pre tune. We called it good but safe at 325whp and 268ftlb. Slapped in some paddle shifter logic for quicker snaps and now not sure which has a bigger smile - me or the butt dyno lol

Things I did with my 370z this weekend

This past weekend I Installed Eibach Sway Bars. Whiteline Sway bar end links, and a TWM short shifter kit.

Tractionless 03-26-2018 03:34 PM

Machined with polished lip (all matte cleared) Forgestar F14's mounted with 255/40/19 fronts, 325/30/19 rears. Not mounted on car yet, pics will be posted.

On way out to garage to install Powerstop Street pads on all 4 corners.

Nice, what system are you tuning with? I've been looking for one to quicken the AT shifts.

Made an appointment with Seb to have a Quaife lsd installed, remove my 4.08 ring a pinion and re-install the stock 3.69's. Also going to install 2.87 supercharger pulley and re-tune. Should see over 600hp with the pulley change.

The hood vents look really nice they should help you out thumbs up. Were they hard to install? Did you trust yourself cutting your hood?

Getting everything layout and equal was the hardest part. And that wasn't that hard. The hardest part was putting on the little washers on the back of the pop rivets.

Reverse light is not smoked. Only the brake light is.

tims370z 03-28-2018 10:49 PM

Took her for the first drive of the year. Also tested out the new clutch and brake fluid. Shifts are so smooth now and brakes throw you into the dash! Can’t wait for some better weather here in Pittsburgh!

I have to agree that she is the best candidate to install the RJM pedal when you guys stop by.

Had an Eibach front sway bar installed. Man does it handle much better now! I didn't realize I should have the end links upgraded at the same time, but that will be in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend where to buy the SPL end links?

All done. :D

Fuzzzy 04-01-2018 09:05 PM

I washed a thick layer of yellow pollen off my Z. Simple, eh? Nope.

(a)Plastic container of soap which had been left under the carport did not fare well during the winter and broke when it was picked up. No problem--poured enough soap into the reservoir of my foam gun to get the job done.
(b)The foam gun had also been left in the carport during the winter also and the plastic tube inside the reservoir broke when refilling it. I fashioned a plastic straw to replace it. ahh! Success!
(c)Right up until I immediately dropped the foam gun on the driveway and shattered the plastic reservoir.
(d)To sum up my day in one word: Plastics!

But my wife took pity on me and helped me wash my Z the old-fashioned way, so we did get the pollen and the cat tracks in the pollen removed. Luckily the cat is currently quarantined inside due to some sort of respiratory issue. Unfortunately, yesterday my wife took the cat to the vet who gave him three shots and a drip. The SOB is recovering nicely and will be tracking up my Z to his heart's content again in a few days :shakes head:

At least my Z is back to a nice clean red now rather than a dirty and dingy yellow!

Rusty 04-01-2018 09:16 PM

Get yourself an airsoft rifle. Lay in wait like a sniper. Once the cat is on the Z. Light his asss up with the airsoft rifle. Hurt like helll. And leaves no marks on anything. He won't do it again after the second time of getting his asss light up.

Not worth it. They require quite a bit of maintenance to keep them in working order. When I spoke with a rep at the company, he told me he has to lube his cutouts once a month. He said even once every two weeks or more might be needed depending on the use and other environmental factors. He told me story of a customer who called to complain after his got stuck open and he got pulled over and got a ticket for the noise.

Oil change and washing has been completed. Put sealer on the wheels to help with cleaning.

Suches Loop as usual (19-180W-60) but I really need to give Richard Russell another go. Have you driven it recently?
