Square bit for what? Only holes I remember having to open up a bit for a tight fit was on front side for latch and bumpers and drill out small holes if you want to use windshield washer line/nozzles.

:shakes head: there's an 8.6mm gap where there should be a 2.8mm gap.

The azzrags at Seibon "guarantee" that there will be less than .5" of gap - on both sides.

If they won't send me a new hood, I was thinking some weatherstripping underneath to at least make it look less like EW's moving collection of rusted parts and eBay wheels. :stirthepot:

I just installed a Ctek indicator panel in the front bumper. This now allows for easy hookup without opening the hood and gives my battery status.

^^ I've thought about doing something similar since my car is becoming a garage queen... be nice to just plug the battery tender in and walk away.
