Something just occurred to me. Our fuel pumps are in the tank, right? I remember reading somewhere that the fuel pumps in the tank get hot in a dry tank

Something just occurred to me. Our fuel pumps are in the tank, right? I remember reading somewhere that the fuel pumps in the tank get hot in a dry tank without any fuel to dissipate the heat, shortening the life of the pump. Any thoughts on this? I may need to change my habit of waiting until the low-fuel light comes on.
