Default 1st gear question

whats the best way to take off? it seems that the sweet spot is at low rpms and engage the clutch asap, at more rpms it gets jittery...which i dont understand why because when i drove my trans am i could engage the clutch at high or low rpms with no jitters and that was old 95 trans am

I couldn't understand why I was having trouble smoothly operating this car, especially since I have had stickshifts all my life. Then I removed the silly clutch pedal assist spring, and all is well.

Yeah I've learned that if you rev higher and you let the clutch out at a slower speed, you get some jitters.

Not sure I understand why there seems to be such an issue with owners shifting these cars?? I did the pedal spring conversion, and did notice a bit more feedback with the pedal, but never had any real issues with it before the conversion. I'm especially puzzled when the owner claims they've been driving manual trans cars for years. What the hell is so different about this car?? I just don't see an issue unless these folks have mechanical issues. Never had "jitters" during clutch engagement. Shifting seems fine to me.
