They're also more work and slower. I wouldn't pretend that laziness is the only reason.

Damn right! It's like saying that using your tablet to do research is lazy because you ain't going to the library.

It's like saying that using a calculator is being lazy and we should get notepaper and pencil.

It's like....

Why not hiring a race car driver to drive and you take the passenger seat? No work and faster!!!

If anyone wanted real talk, my analysis is as follows.

No one that can "afford" a 20k+ used Z is going to buy one and will get a Porsche/m3/4/Corvette instead, especially from a private party. Or a new C7 Corvette on 60 month stretch pay considering you can get one for less than 50k now.

The Z is stuck in a shitty market place at the moment, it is not cheap enough to be ragged on by high schoolers, and it is not expensive enough for those that have the money to buy it, because they will go other directions.

This has nothing to do with the transmission and or color of the car, those are personal preferences.

I like it because of the history. It is different from other cars and the used 370z are getting below 20k. Its still a looker. If you want a fast car buy 1 and quit wasting your money with upgrades, just go buy a corvette.

I sold my M3 then bought the Z and $20K+ isn't going to get you one of those on your list without potential huge repair bills down the road.

My Z (3rd Z, PW/Persimmon) has full options with 6MT and I love that color combo. There is a lot of car for the money. As for as color and transmission choice, it is a matter of personal preference. All you need is just one buyer to get the car sold.

I personal think your car is nice and i would definitely consider it if I was looking for an auto.

Yeah, the truth hurts, doesn't it?..

Look, all I did was come on here and offer my opinion as to why your car wasn't selling. Not once did I say anything negative or rude about you or your car.

You're the one that got all bent out of shape and offensive with your first and second response back to me. Possibly because you know I'm right but you don't want to admit it.

If you wanted to successfully resell an automatic transmission car with no issues, maybe you should have bought a Toyota Camry instead of a Z. You know, the kind of car people actually WANT an automatic in.

Considering the majority of Zs are sold new with autos what makes you conclude the used car buyers significantly differ in their preference of transmissions?
