Lighten up, Francis.
At 90mph, you should be driving, not cruising. You should be poised to stop as quickly as possible with as little time to react as you can. With cruise control, your feet are off the pedals, you are more comfortable and less alert. Your reaction time is increased. Not safe. I agree that 90mph seems arbitrary as the line between safe and unsafe. But, then again, so is the 70mph speed limit. |
