driving in sport shift mode

Why do these types of threads even exist? Sorry, but if you don't have the common sense to know when to shift gears or what gear to be in in

Sorry, but if you don't have the common sense to know when to shift gears or what gear to be in in a certain situation, then you shouldn't be driving a stick, and if you have an Auto, leave the damn thing in automatic mode. Obviously, the car is smarter than you.

I swear, it's like a bunch of 7 year old kids on here posting these silly questions.

I'll put it to you simple...

If you want max efficiency, accelerate slow, shift low without bogging the engine and keep the rpms as low as possible, in the highest gear possible, no matter what speed you're going.

If you want max performance, ring that bi*ch out to redline in every gear.

The OP says he has a 7th gear & if so it's not a stick.

Thanks for the input guys , no question is a "dumb" question after all, this is a thread where ppl come to talk about Z related stuff duh!

as i said only had the Z for a couple of weeks now, just wanted to make sure im not damaging the engine!!

cheers
No sh!t it's an Auto. I knew that from the OP's post. Unlike some people, I actually read the entire posts and comprehend them. I was saying it doesn't matter if it's a stick or auto, the same rules apply either way. And it's obvious the OP is using the paddles.

Aggressive? Maybe.
Tampons? Not hardly.
Tired of some of the juvenile questions? Definitely.
