Wow what a disaster, I hope you get them to pay for all the repair costs.

Looking at their website with 700 to dip a whole coupe they can't be planning to spend time in it.

I looked at dipping my car but I just couldn't find anyone at any local car show with a decent job. Not that a good job couldn't be done, even saw a person do a damn good pain job with a rattle can once. Good work is hard to find.

I've actually seen some fantastic autoflex/dip jobs. Not from DipOne of course. I was too naive and went to them after I saw my buddy's car and all the pictures they post on instagram. Pictures do absolutely no justice whatsoever! It's so deceiving!

The next color I do will either be the same color or maybe a dark aqua. We'll see. Right now, I still have to peal off the remaining dip that they were too lazy to peal.

BTW I was quoted 6-7k ONLY to fix the pink, take off the dip, fix&paint the fender and wing.....not paint the rest of the car. So you can only imagine how much an entire car will be.

BBB does absolutely nothing. They are not a government entity, they're literally an old-school Yelp. They do not enforce or do anything helpful. Don't waste time on this. Or at least, don't go expecting results of any kind.

was there a reason why u did not just get it painted considering the amount of money already spent on all the bits?

Because to spend 1000-1500 on painting all the new panels, I might as well spend that same amount to change the color of the entire car. And it would be easier to resell the body panels if they were unpainted (in my opinion) ...especially the CF hood.

How are they still in business?

And it's hard to imagine anything sprayed on won't affect the bade color upon removal unless it is something like plasti dip where you can easily peel off.

I think that's what they did. Dipped it first, then sprayed over the dip so it can be easily removed afterwards. They just did a horrible job with it.

Correct, but what they sprayed on WAS plastidip. Autoflex is basically a clear coat that goes over the dip that gives it the paint-like shine and gloss.

wat i meant was why not just spend the $7-9K to get the color you wanted in real automotive paint? full car paint.

Because if the AutoFlex turned out nicer he could have changed colors 5 times for the same price.

I could not believe what I saw and how bad of a job that was done. Talking about the B-team. Hell it looks like the person or persons that did the job, was their first time the paint anything. I surprised they just didn't use a brush. Hope things get better and sorry to see what happened.
