Wow thats sad some one treats you like that specially if you didnt give any disrespect. What harm could come from sitting in it or looking at the engine. I mean not as if you was dressed in mud(you werent were you? hehe).

I agree with others, i would have requested to speak to some one else.

I was pre-approved for a 50k loan walking into a dealer and they wouldn't allow a test drive unless I was "ready to buy." Retarded. Went to a Grubbs and hit 100 on the access road in their T/S Z. I was sold, for both the car and the dealer. Amazing how easy it is. Too bad the guy couldn't find a Nismo for me, I really wanted to buy from him.

I would have a chat with the General Manager. If he concurs the salesman's attitude, then I would be sure to let the owner of the dealership know, if not also the BBB and Nissan.

Granted, Nissan doesn't "do" anything with the dealers, but, if they aren't selling cars...Nissan would know why...

Lol. I had almost the exact opposite reaction to the dealerships i visited. I am 18 years old and I had to fend the salesmen off about me driving the car (already test drove the 370z 2 times as I shoped around dealerships). I chose the dealer that gave me the least amount of bs, they set me a very nice price with no haggling required.

A few thoughts.

First, the dealer was in the wrong when they wouldn't even allow the OP to take a look inside.

When I was window shopping for a 370Z at the Autobarn in Evanston, IL, they had a few Z's sitting around on the show-room floor and none of the salespeople had any qualms with me opening the door and sitting in a Z, even though they had the key sitting in the dashboard (Kinda odd that they would leave the key laying around like that).

Anyway, a salesperson walks over and asks me if I have any questions and I say that I'm only window shopping, but he still offers to give me a test drive anyway. It was late and I didn't what to waste their time or hear their sales pitch so I took a pass.

Same thing happened when I took a visit to Grossinger Autoplex in Lincon Park. I walked in and sat in a brand new Camaro SS and starting monkeying with the stereo, power-seats, sunroof, etc... (they also had the igninition key on the dash) and nobody said a word. I was in the car for a good 20 minutes and none of the salespeople said a peep.

I guess it all depends on the dealership.

I emailed about that car just to be an ***, they had it for sale above MSRP on a new one and they kept avoiding my question as to why they are trying to sell it for more than a new one. Every email back from steering away from the question. Dumbass dealers, do they honestly think anyone is gonna pay close to that? that car would have to be $25k for me to even think about.

Sorry to hear that man. Anyway, take your business else where. But after you've bought your 370Z, go back to that dealer and park in the front lot and ask that Douche where the parts department is, because you need wheel locks for your beautiful Z.

It happened to me when I was going to buy my 07 "drifiddyzed" in a dealer in Orlando, yes, by Semoran Blvd ( I am not going to promote them, but anyway, they are the only one by Semora....) . I've read some guy in the forum talking inquires about them. At that time, I was 22 recently civil engineer grad student, doing a masters in Engineering Management, with and Audi A4. I was getting rid of my A4 (it was an 04). I went with my college student apparel and I was treated in a crappy way, they didnt want me to even sit on the car because it was on showroom.... I could get a test drive, at that moment they were "giving me an offer" and ask me if I was going to give a trade in or a down payment, I told them to both, no [waiting for the best offer, frooooooooom them as they are negotiating with a "potential buyer" ( i guess that's the way they should think, right?)] and they told me that no matter the offer they gave me, I couldn't afford to get it with no down payment.... riiiight ( how can you support your hypothesis?) And yes, it was the Manager at the moment....
As soon I saw no flexibility, (everything went in a descent manner) I went to another dealer SAME DAY, by Orange Blossom Trail, in Orlando Fl, and tan tannnnnnnnnnn, best service EVER as they always do, that's my experience.
That was on Sunday night, I remember that day because it was also the Super Bowl .
On monday, I went to the acid dealer and ask to the manager, WHERE IS THE PARTS AND SERVICE AREA??????? on my new 07 350z with less than 50 miles on it.

He began to argue with me that he didnt know that I was going to trade and give 6K of down, bla bla bla, I told him back, you know, I didnt came here to argue about my new 350z, I was trying to get an offer that you were to be supposed to negotiate it with me, I went to Universal Nissan and bough my new ( that was the key word NEW NEW NEW) 07 350Z

You know what stupid question he said to me? Are you sure that car wasn't crashed? It's not damaged? Because here we have the best Z's.... What an moron, idiot, whatever.....

He's no longer working there, don't know why.

Anyone that gets missed treated should call up the main Nissan HQ and file a complaint. They get several complaints from the same place and they will act on it Im sure. They may not own the lot but they still dont want crapy customer service attached to the vehicles they make. And personnaly if a person treats me that way I will tell them to F off loud enough so all can hear.

wow that really sucks. wat the other guys said, dont ever go back to that dealership just go somewhere else. That kinda shows you how their going to deal with you in the future if you do end up buying a vehicle from them. When I went to the dealership, I went by myself ( 20 years old ) brought an 98 civic coupe, dressed like a bum and when i was looking at the z the first thing my salesman said was lets take it out for a spin. he didnt ask me about anything else. I thought it was great and i told him i wasnt even really looking to buy a car today. he said it was cool and just wanted to show me the car. they gave me a great offer that day that i couldnt refuse and i came back the next day to make the deal. I never would of expected such great service. Got my Z from Nissan of Chantilly in VA. Its sad to hear the dealership treated you that way =[ .
