Default Dealers crack me up

A couple years ago, when getting my clutch fluid flushed I asked for it to be replaced with GT-R fluid like was suggested here. When I went to pick the car up, he said there was no such thing as GT-R fluid but they used some higher grade stuff. I like to flush the fluid every 2 years so I today I asked them to flush it again and use the upgraded fluid. He says, "Oh, you mean the GT-R fluid". I just said yeah. Go figure.

One time in my life. I was a ASE Master Tech with a state inspection license. So I know the BS that going on. Every time I go to a dealership for something. I just have to shake my head at some of the crap that comes out of their mouths. After they get done spilling their crap. I tell who I am. Then all the BS stops.

Probably the first time it was a new guy "Certified" just out of mechanic school. The second incident probably was a more experienced one. But nonetheless. LOL

Actually my service advisor is a nice guy....I think it was the tech the first time that told him there was no such thing as GT-R fluid. Of course, it isn't technically GT-R fluid, I don't think that is what is on the container, but that seems to be what everyone knows it by.

GT-R fluid? Is that like blinker fluid? I actually ask for the stuff at a dealer one time. Should have seen the looks I got.

I find that the people that know the least about our cars work at Nissan dealerships which is why once I buy it I never go back.

It's all part of their plan to make you think that they are dumb causing you to let down your guard.
