first thing's first, I'd make sure you contact the police about the vandalism. they MAY send a patrol out and that might be enough to scare the crap out of the culprit to avoid anything happening for a little while until you get the cctv up...

sorry can't help you on that in terms of products... is there any private parking facilities that you can get for a short term (like an underground garage?) while you wait?

One more piece of advice, forget the CCTV cameras, you won't be able to get a good enough resolution on the face. Go with high definition right off so you don't waist your money on the low res stuff.

Something like this...
Lorex 4-Channel, 4-Camera Indoor/Outdoor High-Definition NVR Security System Black LNR1141TC4 - Best Buy

Or even better... 4MP system but they get pricey.

Agree....go with 1080P and NVR.
