Default Miss my Z!

Bought a 2009 370z a few years ago. Put a FI exhaust on it and new stereo. Loved the car. Had an itch for something else so I sold it and bought a new camaro zl1. While I love my camaro, there are some things I really miss about the Z. I stop in here every once in a while to see what's up.

As compared to my zl1, the z feels so much more agile and easy to maneuver. Feels lighter (Bc it is), and the rev match sounds amazing with the exhaust. Was a really fun car to drive.

My camaro is amazingly powerful and corners very well around right turns. Love the launch control and other features. Also extremely easy with this car to add 100hp for not a lot of money.

All in all though I do miss the 370z. I really hope the next iteration has 450plus hp. If it doesn't I may be all over it!

You can now have launch control with ECUTek.

If you like your 09 go and test ride a 16 Nismo and the Camaro will be gone.
Come back to the Z end the dilemma.

No dig on the Z. Loved it. Miss that car. Had both for s while and found it more fun at times to drive the Z. But I didnwant something with more power. Really hoping they do the z35 450 plus hp iteration soon. I may come back.

I am not a chevy guy or domestic. But I got my zl1 with 25% under book. gM did a special deal for ten days and I basically stole the car for 43k instead of about 60.

Anway love this board. You guys are great on here. Camaro forum is definitely a different deal....

First of all an 09 370 with a sport pkg. and a few mods is not that different from a new nismo, second the 2016 SS handles way better than a ZL1, almost as good as a Z-28 and 455hp and torque isn't that far off from the ZL1 motor.
So while there are several refinements I still don't think I can go back to a GM pony car, it would have to be a C7.

don't listen to the haters lol, id take a SS 1LE even over a Nismo Z in a heartbeat, wouldn't even blink with the thoughts of a ZL1
