My guess is the transmission is fine. A car left in gear potentially can roll....that's how you start an engine by rolling the car downhill and releasing the clutch in

My guess is the transmission is fine. A car left in gear potentially can roll....that's how you start an engine by rolling the car downhill and releasing the clutch in 2nd. Sorry about the fender bender. That's a horrible feeling.
