So what? That means nothing right....

But the point is, look around! Now is a great time to buy a Z and you can find good deals for a new base sport for under 30k all day long. A sport/touring + tech in my area runs about 32-35k.

That is crazy if that is the case . Around me, the CHEAPEST you will touch a sport touring (within 500 miles) is 40/41K!

Used Z market is not worth it. Used prices are high, but new prices are low. I'm seeing used Z's with 20k miles posted for same price as brand new ones..

If you're buying, you really would be a fool to buy a used Z right now, unless it was a REALLY good deal and it made sense money wise.

Where do you live? My area is considered very expensive so IDK....

You can always buy from another state, thats the beauty of it ;)

No brainer. Get the new one.

I had the same option as you back in August. Except both my options were new.

I couldn't justify spending 3-5k more to add touring to my sport. Bose and leather side bolsters on the seats, plus bunch of extra weight. No thanks. The sports seats are 100% same as touring minus leatherette side bolsters, middle is the same. Sport seats felt way more stable, the leather sides make you slide exactly where it should hold.

100% Enthusiast choice = base sport 6mt.

Touring sport = just go buy the g37 if you want touring luxuries.

This is what I'm looking at. I don't think spending the extra money is worth it. Could I afford it? Yeah, but it seems unnecessary to increase the price for those few itens.

I currently have a Q60s..got it new last year. I'm getting rid of that to get back into a Z..it just does not provide the same experience/love as a Z. So a G37 would be out of the question :ugh2:

That's damn near ~30% off invoice, nice deal!

Thanks. Im extremely happy with it.

I priced my car as it sits today, and with 7500k its still worth more than I paid for it.

The downfall, there was only 1 brilliant silver Z at this price. Not many options but, I just so happened to be a fan of the silver. It felt like a done deal before I even went to test drive it really.

NW WI..there are very few Z's for sale here..and even fewer on the road lol.

That is actually what I am looking at doing. The car is a few states away and he is going to ship it to me for free .

Otherwise, there are only 2 Z's within about 75 miles of me. There is a '15 Sport, dealer is asking $34,879 and another dealer has a 2016 Base for 32~ something. I actually went and played around with the Base on Saturday to see what I thought of the new radio. Surprisingly it is pretty decent! I think it has made leaps and bounds compared to the old base model radios. :shakes head:

Yeah..that was a DEAL!

Well, the fact that the '14 Touring Sport has an accident history would change everything for me that I said about getting it. Personally, I would still look for a '14 or newer Touring Sport. When I was looking, I passed right over the ads for anything that specified "base", and lasered in on Touring and Nismo only. But as I said, I'm biased

get the new one..

you can get those concave convex whatever wheels you like anytime later and wrap them with tires which is much better than nitto

backup camera?? seriously?? I drove a 350z for 4 years and 370z for 4+ years and never feel the need of a camera... especially with a chic on the passenger seat... c'mon, drive like a man and forget about those aids...

used car... you never know what problem do they have and how did the previous owner torture it.... maybe that's why he/she has to sell it so quickly...

Get The New One...

Get the fully loaded on, backup cameras leather seats, hested seats, spoiler, sport wheele, sport brakes. 13k miles is NOTHING, still new. My 2014 just hit 13k miles today.

none of the Z cars hold value, so id rather just loose less money :ugh2:

Yup! I've already seen two totally restored 240z's in my area. Timeless styling IMHO. And they're scoring 370z money and more at the big auctions (Barrett- Jackson, etc.) I drove a buddy's '70 240z home for him back in the day. Sweet ride, smooth shifter, torquey motor. For the money, nothing compared to them at the time.
