They told me that they can...when I almost immediately asked that question. The salesman said that he talked to his manager and they found the same car a few states away. I asked if it could be around the same price as the car that was sold.

talked to the manager again...he said that I would have to be flexible on the price...

I said ok, what would we be looking at??

manager said he just doesn't see how that deal would be possible. :icon14:

But I do love how a few of the members on here (that drive Touring/Touring Sport, mind you) tell me to go with the Base Sport, and that a true enthusiast doesn't need all of the extras. :stirthepot:

when i went to see the first car they would NOT budge on the price. i told him you're asking too much and it won't sell.

'but it's a rare colour (red) and a sports coupe' said the guy. 'we're taking it to a dealer auction this weekend and will be getting very close to our asking price' lol... right away i knew he was bullshitting because i called my buddies and they said there were none they were aware of.

a week later after i got my current he called me and i said i got a better, less milaege, lesser price, newer model z.

it sat on the lot for months.


tl;dr

fuk them. go get to another dealership.

oh and patience is key. YOU are in control. remember that.

canada only had 2 options. base or touring for my model year.

they did eventually add a 'tech' option add on...

they dont even offer the automatic nismo in canada. maybe you can order it but last time i checked it wasn't in the optioning package.
