took back my deposit and...

When I got my g35, I fell in love with it. I didn't fall in love with the g37 the same way, which is why I went with the 370.

I don't think there's a way to add pole to a thread, but you can certainly add a POLL by clicking "Thread Tools" on the top of this thread .

congrats.

Congratz, G37 is definitely a good choice.

Strange, but I'm on the opposite wing. I don't like the look of the G37 at all. It gives me the same feeling as BMWs..that the driver is a yuppie sleeze-ball. Perhaps I've seen too many spikey haired chochballs driving G's around my neighborhood.

Gut feelings aside, I've never driven a G so maybe I'm missing out. The G and the Z feel like pretty different cars to me though. The G feels like more of a sporty coupe than a sportscar, if that makes any sense.

Congrats on your purchase though. Nothing feels better than loving what you just bought and then the absolute pleasure of driving it off the lot the first time. Priceless

I feel u. The culture has changed with the G. But I see big changes in the Z culture too.
But the thing is... we just gotta keep cars like the Z and G true to the culture. Don't let the elitists make these cars something else.
The G is really a skyline... the baddest gt in the east aside from the gtr. Bimmers are cool but that's another story altogether... when it comes to the G. Its definately a mod car. U can get away with leaving the Z stock n it will be a great car. The G is great once u mod it. But u get a overall package in the G that's hard to beat. It sucks when some cars go commercial like bimmers n G's. But I will stay true to what a G should be.

In 07, I felt the same way. I liked the muscular lines of my 06 G35 n had no regrets when the new G came out. I believe the genesis coupe put the infiniti under pressure and for 09 they made a few updates including the new tranny that just makes the 09 infinit more appealing. Its minor attentions to detail in the 09 that made it more attractive. Then the 6k rebate n 1.9% sealed the deal. Lol.

This thread has me reminiscing on when the original G and Z came out. Wow, just sharp looking cars, beautiful in every regard.

I still can't get used to the G37s stye, but it is a great car. That interior is a nice place to spend a day.

That is really a sick deal. Great car for what you are paying.

Props to Nissan/Infiniti for giving buyers a choice of a more luxury focused coupe or a more raw focused sports car.

You wouldn't believe how much hate used to be spewed back and forth between G and Z owners of the previous generation, it's nice they have became more seperated and focused in their own ways.
