Putting the Z to bed for the winter :(

Today marks one month in storage. I had ankle problems earlier so no biggie was too painful to drive enjoyably anyway.

i liked it for the fact you've driven your z throughout many winters and many km's. unliked for you leaving us for a truck

i mean it's more suitable for your current situation but still... would have been awesome to see you keep the car and drive it to 500k :

yah, ive been storing cars in the winter for decades so i just post wat i do.
as you already know, i too have other hobbies i do in the winter time so it's not a big deal for me to begin with.

not really sure wat caused my ankle to click and pop all of a sudden though.. i think maybe it's from getting older and joint fatigue.

unfortunately that's one thing that people don't realize is there is a emporium of information here and general car information here that has been provided by this community... just gotta look hard and ask the right questions.

lol i think your ankle is probably messed up from all the sitting when you do the RC'ing. or maybe it's when you're tinkering with them somehow the pain that should have been in the wrist migrates to the ankle.

now only if our csc problems could migrate to uhh... failing ac line. yea...

yah, it could be from the RC'ing since i do sit on the floor instead of standing while driving my RC cars. i like watching my cars go around my track at the low vantage point. but i have a timer set to stop driving after 10min and rest for a while to minimize fatigue.

as for good tips, yes, i think i've provided hibernation tips like over 30x already here. lol

I've thought about trying for 500k and keeping the new truck for back up, but 4 cars in my garage is enough. ..if i find another project car i don't have the room. And since i just showed up at home one day with the truck, the wife didn't know, she just seen it in the garage one day...lol she said no mods till the car gets sold.
