Wut I would advise is don't kick him while he's down. Let him recover and politely have a conversation with him. Maybe you can work out some form of payment

Wut I would advise is don't kick him while he's down. Let him recover and politely have a conversation with him. Maybe you can work out some form of payment arrangements. But being nice and polite will get you much farther than trying to muscle him into paying. I'm sure he is aware of the wheel situation and if he is any sort of friend he will try his hardest to make things right
