Finished ordering and pulled to the next window to pay for the food.

Me: Good Evening.
Clerk: Hi Sir, Nice car!
Me: Thank you. I like it.
Clerk: What kind of car is it?
Me: Its a 370z.
Clerk: I have never heard of that brand before. Is that a new company?
Me: Nah, its a Nissan.
Clerk: speechless.
Me: Smiled and said see you later.

I just got the "Is that a 350z?" this past weekend when paying at a drive-thru. I replied, "Nope, 370z".

He just looks at me and says "damn". I thought that was funny.

Everytime I go to the starbucks by my house I always get, "Nice car what is it?"

Why does everyone confuse it for the 350z? It's so very different o_O

I attended the largest car show in Nebraska a few weeks ago and all of the people running the car show (4 or 5 people thought the day) referred to my car as "that 350z". When I was parking "oh just follow that other 350z" and "what is this 350z here, does it even make noise" (joking I hope). Etc. all the 350z owners knew that I was different. I don't get it, they look so different to me.

Also I was the only 370 at the whole show, which was kinda cool but, at the same time, I wanted to meet some fellow 370Z enthusiasts.

I've gotten some pretty good looks when I respond to the "what kind of car is it" question with, "You know, I'm really not sure. I just found it running in some guy's driveway."

Its amazing, this car has been out for what... 6-7 years now, we get the same stuff still to this day lol

ive only seen a handful in my area all this time.. so a non-car person would absolutely not know wat our cars is.
