Got hit today by a negligent driver.

One thing I would ask is that only Nissan OEM parts are used as most insurance companies like to substitute aftermarket parts to save on costs. When someone backed into my Altima, I asked the shop for OEM parts and they had no hesitation.

I emailed the guy who I've been speaking with about the repairs and he emailed back saying they are using nothing but OEM Nissan parts on my car. Thank you for bringing that up!

I have another 8-10 days until I get her back.. So anxious..

I have a Nissan Altima as a rental (paid for by the other person's insurance). It's not too bad but when I floor it I feel like a turtle... Oh and I also really miss shifting gears.

Get your car appraised at CARMAX after the work is done. See what they quote you.

The guy I am going through for the diminished value claim says he can get back about 20-30% of the damage value of the vehicle in diminished value. He is an individual appraiser, so he will be able to value my car prior to and post wreck, and hopefully get me a decent sized check..

CARMAX will low ball me like no other. They always do. Can't have them insult my Z like that!

You can make the CVT faux shift
