Got hit today by a negligent driver.

I do not mean to bum you out, but this is a shot of my 40th after I was hit by a person also "not paying attention".

It was totaled. The original estimate was $29,000.00.

What was the labor rate?

What was part of the damage?

A top-of-the-line shop quoted this. They are guys who do outstanding body work. I do not know what the labor rate was but just the parts list included:

both front airbags
Seatbelts
Windshield
both fenders
hood
left strut
engine wire harness
front fascia
left headlight
subframe

That's crazy! I gave it to a pretty good shop to repair as well. Hoping for a write off, but none of my airbags came out since it was a full side impact. I will find out later this week what the damages are. If they do total it. I plan on taking all my aftermarket parts and putting it on another Z. Hope they give me a good valuation for my car if it is totaled.
