And the modding bs here is crap also. If you modify your 370, you can bet Nissan will not warranty the car either.

Ian are you saying that you can mod your bmw and bmw will still honour your warranty? I find that bad business practices.
Also I find it puzzling that BMW will replace a part that was/may be, clearly wear and tear and possibly carelessness by the owner. If that is so then good on BMW and I guess the extra money you pay for the BM goes into "claims" like these.
