But if this thread was made because I wrote about the Z rumor mill?

Then as stated. I hate the fact the next generation Z may be a downgrade as I was looking to buy another one.
And I hate the fact the rumor mill doesn't promote any excitement or enthusiasm for the next generation car. Instead it makes Nissan as a company look washy washy. Especially with the current lineup of humdrum CVT vehicles
no bro, this thread wasnt started bc of your comment. its just that ive been seeing quite a few threads/posts related to ppl literally griping about how the Z sucks or doesnt come with enough power or whatever issue they have. guilty conscience? lol jk

Oh man that's been since 2010. It all started when two well respected forum members started complaining about the Z and bought 5.0's. Then half the forum followed on a c*ck-riding mission. Then Z complaining became this forums culture.

And we're here. Yeah Nissan ****** up the whole Z progression. Yes Nissan as a company has gone soft.

The GTR is still King and the Z is still unique/niche.... For now.

Are you sure? The "official" manner of adjustment has changed.

How To: Adjust Your Mirrors to Avoid Blind Spots - Feature - Car and Driver

Now they recommend adjusting the mirrors almost all the way outward on both sides. The adjustment is based on the idea that on either edge of your rear-view mirror you should see half a vehicle, and in the associated side mirror you should see the other half of that vehicle. You should not be able to see a large overlap, or any of the vehicle behind you in either side mirror. You should not be able to see the side of the car at all.

I tried this, and son of a gun, it works. Adjusted this way you can see a vehicle in your side mirror all the way until you can see it in your peripheral vision. I've adjusted my Roadster's mirrors in this manner, and there is no blind spot at all.

my complaint regarding the rear quarter panel window wasn't so much for while driving in traffic, but rather when you have to park at an angle in a parking lot and you really needed to see outta that small window to see if a car was coming, while your mirrors were pretty much useless.

Yeah. Can't argue with that. I'd rather have the top down for something like that. The Roadster's quarter window is even smaller than that of the coupe.

LOL i just realized you have a roadster after looking at your profile pic.

and yes, the top coming down would make backing out of a spot (when parked at an angle) so much easier

Anything backing up is a bear with the top up. The Roadster has a tiny rear window compared with the coupe, and no quarter windows at all.

The whole visibility thing is why I jumped on that new mirror setup when I found it. According to the article they came out with that in 1995 which makes "new" not all that new. Hey, who knew?
