When I pull into my complex I go slow to go up the entrance/curb, and again to go over the speed bump right after. I try not to slow down

When I pull into my complex I go slow to go up the entrance/curb, and again to go over the speed bump right after. I try not to slow down others too much, as they can see where I park my car and fear they might get "revenge" on me. But, out and about I do not have a problem making people wait, since an extra few seconds will not hurt anyone.
