So if you had to choose between "inconveniencing" others for an additional few seconds or not "inconvenience" them and tear up you car and possibly costing you hundreds/thousands to fix, which one would you choose?

If you've modified your car to the point where you scrape over every pebble then you need to man up an reap what you sow. I'm not even trying to squelch your form of self expression here. If you're going to make your car hella stupid, you have every right to do so. You DO NOT, however, have the right to commandeer the road and use it as your own private parade lap. If you already know you're going to be driving slower than everyone else you either need to plan your trip better so you're not constantly running into potholes or dips OR get a proper beater to daily drive in. Can't afford a beater? You shouldn't be able to afford mods either. The general public is not responsible for your car. Imposing that responsibility on them by making your car undrive-able on surface streets makes you a **** - not every body else.

I didn't say nor imply it in a bragging manner. It's one thing to be holding up traffic to where it's backing everyone up, but for the car behind the OP to wait a mere 10 seconds extra so that the OP can safely turn or pull into a parking lot, that's nothing. What about those drivers whose cars aren't even lowered but go well below the speed limit that def. cause a traffic jam? Are they d*cks for wanting to go somewhere with extra precaution?

Okay, first and foremost, take a chill pill dude.

Second, the OP isn't talking about slowing down to 5 mph coming on the expressway. S/he is merely talking about pulling into a gas station or grocery store. Your logic of how the OP should be considerate of others goes both ways. The car behind the OP has to understand not everyone drives a Yukon wanting to go 100 mph.

And your logic also goes back to my question as to the people that drive below the speed limit and hold up traffic at the same time. Are they d*cks because they're too scared to go any faster?

Again, if the OP is modified to a point where s/he has to drive slow, that's different. But if the OP can drive normally and with the flow of traffic, but needs a few extra seconds to pull in somewhere, the car behind can wait.

This right here. The OP isn't hindering traffic for more than a few seconds at most. I get stuck behind Yukons all day making turns that take them 10 seconds to complete. At least OP has a reason to turning slightly slower unlike an 80 yr old doing the same thing in a lifted 4x4.

Either you are holding people up or not. If you are holding other people up, THEY get to decide how valuable THEIR time is, not you.

They didn't force you to mod your car. They are not responsible for accommodating your modifications.

If they are causing a traffic jam, they are a problem. Yes.

Whether school buses are lit up like a Christmas tree or not, it's still "holding people up".
