Read Lee Iacocca book on the automotive industry . Nothing beats Japanese build quality and reliability . German engineering is great but they break down. Mac

That's why I decided to move on. A car nowadays should run at LEAST 200K miles before the first big repair. I switched to Japanese vehicles because I want the confidence that I can retain and drive a vehicle beyond 100k miles WITHOUT worrying it's gonna bite me in the butt.

Japanese cars do this "routinely" (run over 100k without big repair bills).
