How much attention does your Nismo get?

I've now had my nismo for 3 weeks now and I had no idea it would attract attention that it does. Every time I go to a gas station I get stared down, 2 mustangs have tried to race me already (I just got the damn thing, I'm not about to fvck around with it just yet), I was driving through a small town and an older guy with his family was next to me looking over and he kept saying wow with the biggest smile on his face, and the other day a kid was following me taking pics with his iPhone.

I can't imagine what you guys must go through that have a bright color like red

The best though was the other day a van, for some odd reason, got mad when I was passing him so he sped up and started doing like 90. He starts to pass this SUV on the right and the SUV gets pissed and starts racing him. They were hauling 100 down the road going neck and neck so naturally I sped up laughing behind them because I wanted to see what happened. The van eventually backed off before traffic got thicker. It made my day though knowing I was the catalyst for a SUV/minivan showdown.

And it is a tank. Not knocking it though. It would be great to have a back seat for family situations, but I am keeping my Z whether I get a family car or not!

Oh i agree. Much rather have the Z. I was just curious why the other guy was making it like the SRT8 is no match for the Z, unless he meant backroads or something...

I get the least attention in my Z out of three cars. Strangely my old '53 Chevy all beaten up and my 1966 XKE get far more attention. It actually bothered me for awhile. now when somebody says "nice car" outside my house.

I now just say thanks where I once asked "which car".

I imagine some of you guys really enjoy the attention this car attracts, while some of you resent it ( maybe both in the same day by the same guy).

It is akin to being with a really hot girl. Of course she'll attract attention, stares, jealousy, anger, lust, etc.

You should put some kind of sticker on your Nismo that lets people know you're a girl and it's your car.

haven't found the right one yet. I usually like seeing peoples faces when they want to race me and I blow them out of the water. I just roll down the window and blow them a kiss lol

Took my wife to test drive a regular 370, then she ended up drooling all over the nismo on the showroom floor and lost interest in the touring+sport that she just tested (she fixated on the nismo and smiled uncontrollably like she saw Brad Pitt). Ended up buying her a PW 09 nismo.

If there's a measurement called "attention/$", the nismo wins it hands down.

The best one I had was...a new black Camaro SS passed by on the fast lane, but the lil boy in the passenger seat climbed up, both palms on window, and couldn't stop staring at the Nismo as if he just saw Optimus Prime

If you were wearing the same outfit as in your album, I'm pretty sure they were just trying to catch up to you

lol thanks guys. but def love my ride. I saved up for like a year to put down a massive down payment when I read it in an article late 2008. I always wanted a Z but when I saw it I fell in love. I went to the dealership in SD and they had a NISMO there $5000 off making room for a GTR Im like uhh I want it lol and bought it right then and there
