I get a lot of side glances and most dont look directly at it for some reason. Like they are afraid to look at it directly, except for the brothers that smile and give me the thumbs up. B8 S4 drivers drive by with their nose upturned at me. Bunch of dicks that hate anything not German. Glad I'm past that scene.

So many PW NISMOs around! Only a handful of the SR NISMO owners post somewhat regularly. M1: How is the GT treating you? My friend stationed in Germany is getting a 2013 GT soon and he is already talking that stuff. Eagles: Keep flying high and just let the dudes bounce off the rev limiter until they blow, lol. Either that or the cops will pick them up and admire you as you cruise by...............

Also, I have an Audi S4 (really wanted AWD and 6MT, don't understand why this is so hard to find other than in a Subaru), so IMO my garage has the perfect mix of import and German! Plus, the Audi is amazingly quick and a blast to drive in the snow, definitely a sleeper to people that don't know what it is. I have not run into the German only "dicks" in my area.

looks like this thread has gotten a lot more replies since I last checked. I see I am not the only one who gets noticed lol.
Lately I feel like the Z has not been getting as many looks and such, but I think I am just getting used to not noticing people anymore. My friend was in the car with me the other day and mentioned how he noticed how people keep looking at the car, so I guess I have really just stopped paying attention to see who is or isn't checking me out lol |

I like every angle of the Nismo, except for the side view of the front bumper. It looks too long and frankly, kind of awkward and ugly in my opinion:

I get a lot of comments from all sorts of people at all sorts of locations...mostly at the gas station though. The I went downtown the first night I owned it and was chased down by a Lexus with three guys inside that apparently really, really liked my purchase from their thumbs-ups and comments.
The biggest appeal of the NISMO is it is a sexy car that has great performance and most of all it is attainable to own by most people. What's the difference between a porcupine and a Porsche? The porcupine has the pricks on the outside

I take a look at 370Z's when I see them. I always thought they were good looking cars. Now that I am pretty set on getting into one, more than ever. They look like $60K cars, not $40K cars.

The best comment was actually from a guy there with an last gen SRT 8 jeep grand cherokee that kept telling me that his ride would smoke me off the line. He made sure to tell me this over the course of a couple hours at least 4 times.

![]() One thing I've noticed about GTI drivers is that they only hang out with other GTIs... you never see them coming out to a general car show or anything. Fanboys to the maxxxxxxxx.

yes, they are..."enthusiastic" about their turbo rabbits. Funny thing is, I really like the gti, I think it makes for a great dd, as long as it's a lease and/or you have a warrantee, just like every other german car, it is high maintenance as the miles/time creep up.
