Default My Pearl White 370z 6MT Sport...Pics and intro.

Hello all,

First off, I have been reading many posts from members here on the forums, and I want to thank you all for the wealth of information and opinions on this new 370z. My name is Zack, I'm 26 yrs old and I live and work in Orange County, CA. On August 1st I drove my '07 Honda CivicSi Coupe north to Fresno, CA to pick up my long awaited Pearl White 370z. An auto broker up there has connections with the docks and was able to find me the exact car I wanted at near invoice price. She's a 6 spd manual with Sport package and illuminated kick plates... and apparently hard to come by recently (6MT at least).

I almost pulled the trigger earlier this year on an '09 white S2000...Man am I glad I didn't because I would have missed out on this CAR!! Coming from a high revving Si I was eager to feel the torque of a V6...and nothing puts a smile on my face like the feel of this engine. With alot of talk about the oil temps, I thought an oil-cooler was in my future...but if someone can confirm on one of the pics below, I believe the later produciton models this year have one...I'm not 100% sure though... just take a look below.

After having this car for a week I managed to put on 1,035 miles and can't wait until 1200 when I can really let her go. I have been getting alot of looks and great comments.

So enough talk, let's get to the pics! (i think i linked them right) I wish I had a better camera, these were taken with a small Sony Cybershot...I did a quick Photoshop pass on them so they were a little more presentable. The B&W image is quick photoshop for a possible future look of my baby... Enjoy! Great to be here.

-Zack

Thanks for the comments everyone. And thanks for clearing that up for me m4a1mustang...I had a couple friends who thought it was an oil cooler, doh!

Hey 2theextreme... yeah a pearl white would have looked good in that line-up.

I was looking at my car again today and I'm a bit relieved to know I'm not the only one with side skirts that don't match the rest of the body. Wish Nissan could do a better job paint matching...

Anyways, great pictures of an awesome car!

pretty much none of the Z's have the paint matching very well on the skirts...it's better on the bumpers but still not 100%. It's because of the material painted over. It bothers me sometimes, but you learn to live with it.

BTW, good choice in color
