First off great show, I have been waiting for something like this since Ned Stark was taken from the show, The King is Dead. I personally think it was the Fool Knight who did it. (Please no one tell me who did it, just throwing out my thoughts on the kings murderer, aka Hero) Show is going to get real as Joffery was married and Margaery Tyrell-Lannister so she is now the rightful ruler, so should be interesting in coming shows. SOOOO happy HBO said the show is locked, aka will be produced through Season 6.

:happydance::happydance:

I'm thinking the same thing!

Won't spoil the who done it, but the next line to succession of the the Iron Throne is actually Joffrey's little brother Tommen, not Margaery. Her right to rule as queen was essentially cut off, but she'll still have influence.

Yea the males being the dominate ones, she would be a little more then a figure head of sorts.
Possible who did the deed.

Tywin Lanister or Sansa would be my top two suspects in the act behind it.

The awesomeness continues...

I really liked Pod in the books, but this weeks's episode makes him one of my favorites for the show.

SgtGoldy 04-21-2014 02:09 AM

Dude... of course it ended there. I hate watching an episode every week. Thats why I like discovering these shows well after the fact. That way I can watch episodes back to back!

That's because I haven't downloaded the episode yet.

I've not even watched the previous week. I already know I'm not going to like a particular scene. I know nothing of last night yet. :)

I think the collective universe liked that particular scene.

Cmike2780 04-28-2014 01:17 PM

Good lord! That was a surprise ending for everyone...book readers included.

I am very disappointed that Coldhands hasn't made an appearance, and of the severe departure from the book's Bran story arc. The "birth" of the White Walker was an unexpected and appreciated suprise.

I will wait to see how things turn out I guess.

loved the past two episodes. the (last?) scene between jamie and brienne was almost hard to watch because the actors did a great job conveying the emotions going on behind the words. loved the name of the sword, too. very fitting. the scene jamie and tyrion was awesome as well. despite both being so hard headed they still show a little brotherly love. dat ending doe!!!

I think they'll address it, but not in sync with the book's story line. They already made changes to make Bran's story line more interesting. The surviving Nights Watch traitors and Coldhands meet were suppose to do battle at Crasters. Coldhands leads Bran to the greenseer, so it's a critical character to omit entirely. They also omitted "warging" between Ned Stark's children and their direwolves. Bran is seemingly the only one that can do it so far.

Well, there is a certain perspective where a certain character needed to be given that.

Problem is, it's at the expense of a character that didn't need to be doing that. :(

Then again, in the later books, GRRM has a slight lack of distinct antagonists to hate.
