I've been driving mine since I got it :( (which is really just weekends since I travel all week for work). Hoping this weekend it is warm and sunny like last Saturday.

Just make sure you get a good wash when the salt is gone (including the undercarriage)

Ni55anPat 03-25-2013 04:38 PM

use the product "salt away" for the underbody....good stuff

Agree. I took my Lady Z out on Saturday as well. I was bored, there was nothing to do but sit around and talk to my wife........I had to get out of the house.

I took the Z to the Dekalb Oasis on Saturday. There was no one on I-88 heading Westbound. Once I got through the Aurora Toll at Farnsworth and out into the rural part of I-88 I opened her up and got to 120mph for about a two miles or so. Have a V1 and was trusting it. It felt good to open it up. The car as usual handled just right. Really enjoyed the solitude.

Caught Lunch at Panda Express at the Oasis and then headed back. Nothing fancy, just set the cruise at 75mph and relaxed. The Sun felt good.

Looking forward to warmer weather later this week and into the weekend. It's about damn time!!!

I have not had any prior experience with Z-Tech personally, but my daughter's boyfriend is a mechanic. He has had many cars tinted over the years and has always gone to the following.

Quality Window Tinting | Chicagoland's Premier Window Tinting Experts

He knows the owner of this company very well. He just recently had his 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4 tinted 20% all around except windshield. It looks just great. Lifetime Warranty. Really good work.

As a side note, Z-Tech use 3M Tint. Quality uses Llumar. The guy from Quality does not hold a very good opinion of 3M product. He also has Ceramic Window Tint which is the preferred tint type I hear.

I will be getting my car done at Quality within a couple of months. I want the weather to get warmer to help fully cure the tint faster.

If your interested, let me know and I will PM his name.

Best of luck with your goodie mods. CAI and CBE alone are worth the price of admission. You plan on coming out to the first meet in early April, weather permitting of course.

Willow Springs z meet or the other one? if we get a good rain ill plan on making one if not both, but if it stays the same as it is now, its a quick drive to and fro project x and back into hibernation. really want a good rain to wash everything away before i start driving on a daily basis

Ni55anPat 03-25-2013 07:42 PM

I've got Vivid Racing waiting to place the order, but it's a pretty big trigger to pull.

That being said, the Evo-R doesn't look too bad.

I like ings+1 and pricing wise its about 2X the Evo-R. I even like stillen, but the sagging issues are annoying.

Paul Walkers time attack Z actually has the ings+1 lip and side skirts and it looks very good imo.

Yeah, Vivid said it would be around a grand for the lip and side skirts when I asked a while ago.
