This is the exact product I have on my car. Does great in summer and at the track.

Agreed shado, worked great all summer keeping the temps in check. Just don't think I'll be having a Z by next summer so letting this go now.

Good luck with the sale! I hate to hear that you are possibly becoming Z-less.

If the new owner needs a copy of the current installation manual, please feel free to message me. I will be more than happy to send it over (unless Falconfixer still has his copy).

It's slightly complicated. Remove your bumper, drill a hole for a mounting screw, mount the core in front of your radiator, attach and run the lines, drain the oil and remove the oil filter, affix the sandwich plate (with a rather large ratchet) and lines, screw on new filter, fill oil, re-place bumper.

I've probably missed a few steps there. It's not "easy peasy", but it's an install that a slightly above average wrench turner can do. Bobo did most of the work installing mine.

Thanks Dustin. The directions sent with your kits are one of the best I've seen for aftermarket mods.

It's not that hard at all. Time consuming but really, if you can change your oil you can install this in a few hours. At most a day. I even put a DIY for this kit when I installed mine. Might be tough to sell now but it'd be a good project for someone while their Z is hibernating till Spring.

Not quite sure where the cooler is on a Nismo. Dustin or John at Z1 might be more know better....or someone else that swapped on their Nismo.

There is no "stock NISMO" oil cooler. So I am a little confused as to what you are talking about. Are you referrring to the Nissan Motorsports Oil Cooler that is an add-on like our kit? Or are you referring to the 2012+ 370Z models equipped with a different type of "oil cooler" [we will not thread jack falconfixer's ad with discussing the differences. PM if you need clarification on the differences].

Our oil cooler mounts on the front of the core support on the Driver side if that helps any.

The latter. I have a '12 nismo. PM me because I'm not sure what the differences are?

Threadjack away. I'm curious to the differences anyway in case someone else asks this question. I gotta set a reminder on my phone to take some pictures too.

No PM received...? Still curious about this. I don't track my car but want to know if I actually need something other than what came on the car.

The oil cooler that is on your nismo is the same that is on the other 2012 Z's. Most people that have 2012 Z's with the oil cooler will still say that it is not enough. A lot of people can get their oil temps up high with just spirited street driving. I would recommend an aftermarket oil cooler if you ever decide to track it.
