Now you are mixing look fast with go fast. What are you really after here?

I'm all about go fast. But i'm in limbo right now. So no fast mods. Except maybe that amuse exhaust that wiggins has. Been mulling that one over. Maybe.

:hello:

Just wanted to say, thanks for turning out on Saturday. It was great to see VABAM again, and to meet everyone else. I really enjoyed the cruise, the company, and the beer (once we got the right one). Can't wait to do it again!

Anyone use a Tommy Kaira shift knob before? Friend of mine highly recommended, despite the price. Reviews say people love it. Wanted to see what you guys thought.

I was being totally sarcastic. But if you really wanna shell out that kind of money for no change in functionality then that is all you. What would i do with $250? Put it in my gas tank.

Yeah, I figured you were lol. No, I'm not paying 250 bucks for a better "shift feel". Was just curious of input, is all. I'll stick with my car the way it is, unless I magically become a baller and can get the Varis kit lol.

Still 200 bucks for the one i like. Listen, if you want a quality product, you're gonna pay for it. Now comparing these with the one J brought up, I'd pay the 250 for his.

I get it....me, I just can't afford it right now. Like Tigger, I have some secret plans....

Is that what you got in your Z?

Darketch 07-15-2014 07:59 PM

Carmax in Virginia Beach is selling my old NISMO for 31k! kinda pisses me off. Not that they paid me 25k (that's what I paid for it). But because I think it's priced too high for an enthusiast to enjoy it without breaking the bank. They also took off the backup cam and JL sub I had in there. I could have given that to one of u guys! BS i tell ya!

along with a shift extension from TWM.

I'm looking into a sundown 10 in. Right now, though even a 10 might be too much for this little car lol. I just want something to make the sound...meaty I suppose you could say.

I had two 12 in kickers in my hyundai elantra a long time ago. Bought the whole setup from some pot head for 200 bucks lol. Shook that poor car to pieces.

I want one but I'll never get one for the car. I refuse to do anything to the car that won't improve the performance of it anymore. I put a stereo in it but that's about it.

The truck on the other hand..... I might put two 12's in that lol.

Oh how you feeling by the way?

That's why I'm debating it, I don't want the extra weight honestly. Might stick with the double din I have now and just get a nice set of door and front speakers. I just want a little substance is all. Maybe use the rear speaker spots for moar?

And I'm doing a lot better, this medicine messes with my stomach a lot less now, just mostly right after I take it. Still can't be in the sun, so my backyard looks like a facking jungle right now. Thanks for asking!

I like the idea of raising the the shift knob up.

Well, I still have a Punch P3 12" in a box cutout to fit behind the bar in the trunk if you want it.

Jsmith7861 07-17-2014 11:26 AM

What about the rear speakers, anyone use them at all? I heard they weren't worth it.

Those, if listed and priced right, last but a day or two before selling. Just keep looking! Or buy one new. Either way. Depends on how you value your time.
