Jon, Took the car to the dealer this morning. Once I started the car this morning the key light went off.

They found another fault other than the Steering Lock. It was about an open circuit of the clutch pedal system and "supposdley" that was the issue. Don't remember the code right now because I'm at work. But I'll post it later.

They fixed that fault according to the paperwork...the light is off.

I will try to drive my car as much as possible before departure to ZdayZ to see if that key light comes on again.

I'll appreciate that you will bring your old one to ZdayZ just in case and when you get the chance check with Courtesy Nissan to see if they have one in stock. Lou is doing the same.
