i'm taking this year as learning experience that tryin to get a room 3-4 months in advance didnt work so i'm goin with your plan for next year and reserving a cabin asap once next years date is set lol

i don't think i'm coming this year due to not having a place at fontana to stay.

how are the regular 'ol rooms? my dad and i didn't get a cabin. i guess we'll have to do some walking to find the parties.

The Lodge rooms are fine. Often nicer than the non-renovated cabins which can be kind of lousy. Plus you have easy access to the wifi and verizon hub if you need it. And it's not a long walk from the Lodge down to where all the action is happening.

The Lodge is alright. It's just your basic hotel room, and the only spot for wifi in the resort last year was the Lodge.

I'm trying out the Cabin this year to see what it's like. I may end up going back to a Lodge room for 2013 if I don't like it, or if I'm staying alone. Lot of different factors in that.

Depends on what you want. Cabin is cool because you get dedicated parking and you don't feel like you're at a hotel. Renovated cabins are pretty nice. The one I stayed in last year wasn't that great.

thanks for the info. i like the dedicated parking thing since there is what like almost 600 pre registered this year? lol and its a place to sleep, shower, sht, and drink so it doesn't have to be a luxury suite lol

Also, the cabins have full kitchens, so you can stock up on food and not have to wait hours to get a burger from the grill.

My cabin was nice besides the ants.
But I had a new renovated kitchen, LCD on the wall, it was nice.

this is a big plus lol hopefully they have decent size fridge for beverages lol

That's nice. I hated having to drive up to the lobby to read emails. But it was a nice quite morning with coffee on the deck over looking the pool.
