ZDayZ 2012 (May 17-20)
 

Just made my reservations for 15-19 May. The actual dates posted on the ZDayZ.com thread indicate it will be held May 17-20. To be clear the MAZOC crew will caravan down together leaving on the 15th of May. See Steve's thread for that:

This gives us all day of the 16th to hang out and drive the Dragon before the larger crowds show up.

LOL. Me and Brandie were just talking about getting our cabin. As long as nothing huge changes me and Brandie will be there, hopefully with a few more mods on the Z.

Funny how that works eh? Glad to hear you are planning to make a return trip. We'll look forward to making the cruise down with the two of you again. What mods are you looking at between now and then?

Well once the stock tires and brakes are done I want to do 15/20 spacers, swift springs or maybe coilovers if I have alot of money LOL, 265/295 tires something really good, DBA front and rear rotors , SS Brake Lines, Stillen Lip, and a few LED's. I hear I will be getting a nice tax return since I donated a car and I'm going to school (but dont tell Brandie) LOL



John, were did you get your swift springs from?

Sounds like you have a little list! I got my Swift Springs from Amplified Motorsports. They are one of the forum sponsors. There are others as well on here that are offering them.

Z ya there! We are there wed-sun again next year. Same cabin across from the dinner hall, although the 370 won't be attending next year most likely, since it won't be registered any more. Have to make do with a Z4 or crZ

I will be there as well for the same days of the week we did this year. I think I may stay in the Lodge this time, though.

:excited: I definitely want to be there, same days. I'm hoping to have big thick rubber and better brakes on the car by then, but it probably won't happen. :D

If that's the case, I'm getting a room at the lodge far, far away from Steve then. He squealed like a pig (much to Dan's delight) at the small spiders in our cabin this year :stirthepot:

So ZDayZ next year is going to be May 16-19? If so, there's no way I could go. That's right in the middle of finals week! :(

It seems like I may have this problem as well, but I will figure something out when the time comes for it.

I don't even have the Z anymore and I still want to go. I'll just end up towing/bringing everyones crap down haha :)

Sucked missing this year but I had a trip to northern Maine in the way.

I was very social. I met more car enthusiasts in those few days than I do in months at local meets. And we had a rolling party almost every night at Jon's cabin.

We just didn't do the itinerary events for the most part, because we treated it like a vacation, came and went as we pleased. :tup:

If I get to make it next year I will do more of the events...

I probably still won't. I liked getting out and driving wherever and whenever I wanted, not having to be anywhere by any certain time, but knowing that things are going on if I want to attend them. For me, that's the entire point of going on a vacation.

Patrick, I saw you sitting over on the sidelines at the car show and I apologize for not stopping to talk. It was hot as heck and I was drooling at the trucks. I did make it to the Z1 hosted even at the grill and had several of the dollar drafts and hung out in the parking lot talking with folks. Had a good conversation with Dustin and the crew from Z1 as well. But yes, next year we'll have to set an evening to all hang out together! Will you be at ZCON this year?

yea i saw you and the wife! i, too, was about to roast alive during the car show. i was mostly talking to the other NOVA people who were there but failed to hang out with us (i'm looking at YOU Steve :shakes head: ) but it's cool. as for ZCON, i'm doubting it since it's in like 2 weeks and i haven't heard that i got the photography gig (or anyone for that matter :ugh2:). i will be at Z Nats tho, i'm sure i'll see you there :driving:

Ummm no. I drive the Dragon at night. You just ride along to enable the DDC system. :bowrofl:
