ZDayZ 2012 (May 17-20)

WTF are you guys getting all butthurt for? I never said I wouldn't be willing to go to ZDayZ. Couldn't go this year because I didn't have the money, but I plan on going there every year I can. If there's another big Z event that's closer, then that's 2 that I can attend every year. The closer it is, the more likely it is that I will go there even if it's not as fun as ZDayZ.

haha i think butthurt isnt the word. i mention adding another event with mention of zdayz and i'm gettin crucified lol

There's nothing wrong with a new event. I'd be excited to see what you guys came up with.

They're trying to eliminate any potential competition with ZDayZ trollololololol.

Steve has no problem driving 10 hrs to ZDayZ, but will never drive 1 hour for a Columbia meet

The major factors, as I see them, are finding a place with interesting things all around. Like fun roads, scenic views, a city or tourist environment, things to do in general. Given the nature of the vehicles, probably aiming at warmer weather is a good idea. And then you'll have to ping sponsors for interest, start a website, start pinging people here. You also have to think about what activities you would hold. Car show? Dyno competition? Photo shoots? There is a ton of potential.

It's a ton of work. I'll help if I can.
