I had a problem with my Forgestar F14's clear coat failing within 4 months and 1,500 miles of ownership in a state that doesn't see freeze/thaw nor use road salt.

Get your wheels receives them as blanks from Forgestar and then finishes to your liking. Who ever they are using for coating is subpar!

They tried blaming my installer but when I told them i went to a high end shop that deals with all kinds of wheels in sizes up to 30" and showed pics of the machines they backed off. Then they admitted the coater was having problems with the clear that was used on my wheels.

They told me I had to cover dismount, shipping both ways and re-mounting costs to have them recoated.

Upon receiving them back the water that got below the clear damaged the metal permanently. So although recoated the damage can always be seen underneath. They did not tell me that prior to shipping back.

When approaching them about it they offered me a $50 refund on a $2100 set of wheels.

It's currently online minus the upcoming parts I mentioned. Interesting info., first I've heard of R35 brakes being used on an R34. Does the advertised "upsized" rotor fit in 19" wheels? ...

Just checked at Nengun today for the cap when looking for CF rearview mirror covers and they're $2 more expensive than my Ebay source. While Nengun didn't have the correct variation of the rearview...

Ah yeah now I see the Nismo FUCA's are silver where as the SPL's are black. Cheesy way of Nismo (Nissan) making money. :ugh2:

Fixed it after ruling out component and wiring issues while picking through the FSM. Apparently while "borrowing" a fuse from a good circuit (horn) to fix the aforementioned blown tail light...

Interesting. Where does the normal "hiss" derive from? I have FI HFC's and the passenger side began hissing on decel after a couple of thousand miles.
