I did my first oil change at 1200 miles also. Went to synthetic oil and a K&N filter. Also installed one of those magnetic oil drain plugs. Then I found a curvy road and mashed down my right foot.

Thanks for the info but I've been changing the tranny fluid in most of my previous rides and thank God i did it right, well thank God not really is the research I do and the time I allocate for these...

Ok s I started the install last night as today I'm driving the wife around for a fitness show ;) I started by mounting the adapter plates to the radiator support over the stock air ducking tunnel...
