Nope.......just wrapped the empty plugs in plastic to prevent water getting in. I also bought gutter leaf guard at the big box store, (it's steel dipped in plastic, still looks good after years) to dress the empty holes. ( Cut to shape, and Installed from behind the facia with JB Weld. )

Sorry to hear that. Back in the late 80's that is the reason they started water cooling the center section of the turbo. They lasted much longer. I converted my older Garrett turbo to be water cooled...

We've all joked about the longevity of the air-cooled COMP turbo and how long COMP's supergrease would last, but now we have hard numbers to back it up! Those numbers are... 45 days. 882 miles....
