Nope.......just wrapped the empty plugs in plastic to prevent water getting in. I also bought gutter leaf guard at the big box store, (it's steel dipped in plastic, still looks good after years) to dress the empty holes. ( Cut to shape, and Installed from behind the facia with JB Weld. )

I have been down this road before breaking manual trans. I refuse to make the same mistake. After SOHO's challenges, I am done wishing. I will be faster with a DCT anyways. Plus, my knee's are shot....

Once you go DCT, I give it about 6 months before you're willing to accept and admit that you're done with manual transmissions in higher power cars :D Just get a MX-5 to keep around for when you are...

What choice do I have? I will hold on to my MT trans as long as possible. When it dumps, plan B will be enacted. I am not doing what I did with my 1975 280zt, putting 4 trans in it and I hate the T5...

I have a T5 in my 1975 280zt. They shift like chit. A T56 won't even get close to my car. LOL

Stock gear set, faceplated t56 magnum will handle 1800whp

I am just going to stay off the drag strip and prepped tracks. See how long it may last.

The DCT would need to be upgraded also if over 1000whp.
