I am guessing regional coding is at play if it works int he J-land player. I am not sure what ripping software you use but you might find a setting to strip the regional coding as you convert it...

That should be a 720P screen so for a 7" screen that should be more than enough pixels. But that's half of the pixels of an ipad mini.

hell yeah bro! and that engine hold like a beats! I remember when my Sti have 415whp with 93oct and stock block internals... just bolt-ons upgrades and a FP Green turbo... what I miss more of my Sti...

From some cursory research it looks like the Subaru WRX STI Starlink 7" screen can display USB movies at 720P maximum. I think you're right on target with your plan. The screen can possibly display...

Yeah, it's not really worth making the video larger than it needs to be when the screen can't display the information. But if it does have a higher resolution, I like to go ahead and take advantage...
