Hey bud. I read your fix for the axle click using the Kawasaki nut. Has it still held up? No noise? Any issues with this fix?

plastic weld or glue it back together. surely it's not cracked into two pieces but who knows... you can pull your fender liner and check it out for yourself.

thats really bizarre because the way the sensor is designed, it can only be secured in one position give or take a few degrees at most. and im willing to bet that the tip of the sensor will produce...

it's not actually specified as a single use item in the service manual, which is odd. mine hasn't loosened. I put a paint mark on the bolt head and the pulley and check it every oil change

yep, generally the boot will be torn, split, or the clamps have come loose allowing the boot to slide off. Essentially, it's anything that will cause debris contamination of the grease and mechanism...

yep, that's the correct part number. if parts or cash is scarce, you can reuse the old spring washers like i did. i only ordered enough parts to do the job as per the bulletin/service manual. I didnt...

it can be done but it's one of those 'you might aswell do it' things. Do it right the first time around. the FSM does specify greasing the mating face when replacing axles. if you dont want to...

oh, nah i just didnt mention the recalibration/relearns because it's assumed that the 3 relearns (gas pedal rest position, throttle body closed position and idle air volume) must be performed...
