Maybe so for a track setup on R compounds and square setup tyres. Front stiff bar on street setup is not ideal.

Get the car up high enough that you have some elbow room and start "beating" on stuff with a rubber hammer until something rattles. I'd check the exhaust pipes first but YMMV.

Drive it for 500 miles before you beat on it. Change lube at 500 miles and again at 1,500 miles. My OS Giken has a slight whine to it too.
