Well I am doing my best for Sean and SPL. I am driving the **** out of the arms and they are working as advertised. It did kind of piss me off that after I did a test or two or three I had to ship them off (take them off the Nismo) to the "professional drivers" and then it turns out they didn't test the new versions. As far as I am concerned, I am the best gauge of anyone on these arms. I might not be a race team but I am definitely a hard core track weekend warrior!!!!!!!

So who is CV129? Do I know you?

Sure, it's possible to have a one off issue with anything mass produced but if there were widespread issues we'd see plenty of threads about it.

I haven't seen one break yet. I do see issues with synchros wearing out and some grinding shifting in early model 370z's. That's it. None have exploded under full boost, etc.

I would say the only weak point would be the syncros - they are notorious for wearing out if you're slamming home gears. Otherwise, my money is on bulletproof for 99.9% of applications.

Our transmissions do tend to be somewhat noisy. There is a fair amount of chatter in neutral, even with a stock flywheel. I'm assured that all of this is normal. If you can use our awkward clutch...

If it breaks, it's because you broke it. They're noisy and clunky, and the hydraulics are crap from the factory, but the gearbox is solid.
