I drive the car in a manner that pleases me. I don't pay any attention to my gas mileage. If that was important to me, I wouldn't be driving a 330 HP two-seat sports car.

Depends on what you are doing. 3K for putt putting around is fine. 7K is good for flogging it. Listen to the motor and you'll figure out your driving style and when you should shift. Now go out...

The only concern I have about feet on the dash (besides making it dirty) is if we were to get in an accident. I can't imagine the airbag shooting their knees into their head would feel good.
