Sorry, the hose clamp pliers are Mayhew ... not Mayhem LOL. You can order them through Amazon. My OEM plastic connector measures 3" in length. I'm not certain of the length of the Z1 connector...

I installed the Z1 connector a couple of weeks ago. It fits fine. No need to cut the hoses. I'd recommend using spring clamps versus the worm clamps. I also replaced the small section of heater hose...
